It can be said that a true artist can only be judged by its live abilities. Rose Hill Drive took this maxim and put it to the test before ever releasing an album. The band built an enormous underground fan base with thrilling live shows, with lyrics that connect, and with a completely earnest approach. It’s a re-awakening of the spirit of music that motivates this band, and Rose Hill Drive’s spiritual connection with its congregation remains unparalleled. This organic and grass roots process has let the fans and then the music business come to them. It’s very important to the band that it happened in that order – music first, business later.

Trace Bundy headlines the Boulder Theater for the filming of his second CD/DVD combo "Missile Bell" (out in early Spring 2008). Featuring new material, "Missile Bell" will contain a full-length studio compellation and footage from the Boulder Theater show complete with bonus features.
Since Trace hit the road as a full-time touring musician, the exponential growth of his fanbase resulted in sold-out shows with standing ovations at venues across the country and around the world (throughout the US and 9 countries) -- partially because of Bundy's uncanny talent and partially because of his ability to connect with the audience via witty banter and amusing anecdotes. In 2006, the Breedlove Guitar artist made the audiences' collective jaw hit the floor at 110 performances. Video clips of his playing have quickly circulated across the globe, with views of over 1,000,000 on YouTube. Don’t take our word for it, go watch the videos. After all, Trace Bundy must not only be heard, but seen .

Listening to Trace Bundy is one thing, but seeing the fan-dubbed "acoustic ninja" play live makes one understand how this man can create all that music with just two hands. Dabbling in harmonics, right-hand tapping, slapping, percussion, looping, multiple capos, and lightning fast picking is just a taste of Bundy's ability to bring the one-man show to a whole other level. His style of playing is purely instrumental acoustic guitar in the style of Michael Hedges, Kaki King, and Phil Keaggy.
In 2004, Trace released "Adapt" his first CD/DVD combo with sales surpassing 11,000 copies leaving people to demand more. Being a part of an audience has never been so good, after all, Trace Bundy must not only be heard, but also seen .

As always, the meager price for the show includes free tickets to Steamboat, Copper, and Winter Park/Mary Jane plus discounts at BoulderPM’s favorite ski and snowboard shop, Boulder Ski Deals. Even if you only use one of the free ski tickets, it more than covers the cost of the movie. The show plays every day, from November 6th to the 11th, with multiple showings each day. Check the Boulder Theater's site for the complete schedule.

I have attended most of the previews of Warren Miller's films at the Boulder Theater, and I can honestly say, it is a great time. There are always a few pro skiers or snowboarders in attendance, and always product give a ways. The energy of excitement is contagious, as the crowd usually gets pretty wild. Chris Anthony will be there, personally, to host the show and give away many, many free prizes. So, if your serious about your riding, come down to the Boulder Theater, grab a beer, and watch The Playground with all of Colorado's finest athletes. It is sure to fire you up for this years record breaking snowfall! See for yourself.
