MOUNTAIN FEST Lyons, CO (August 4, 2008) - With live music from more than 20 soul-touching artists, inspiring yoga from upwards of 25 the nation’s most innovative and exciting instructors and riverside camping under the stars, YogaRocks! will be the yoga-community’s highlight of summer 2008. YogaRocks descends on the 17-acre festival grounds of Planet Bluegrass, Lyons, Co., Aug. 23 – 24 2008. Festival Passes are now on sale at www.yogarocks.info. Tickets start at only $125 per day or $195 for a full-weekend pass (includes camping) and only $40 per day for the Camp YogaRocks! children’s program. A Music-Only pass (including camping) is now available for only $95. For $125 festival goers can now purchase the “Choose Three” Yoga Workshop punch card (includes all music and three yoga workshops of their choosing) for only $125. In addition to world-class music and yoga instruction from the nation’s best teachers, YogaRocks! boasts Camp YogaRocks, a children’s program for kids age three – 10 years old, organic food, an environmentally friendly message, one-of-a kind artwork, sustainable lifestyle vendors, a wellness & massage area, fire twirling, 125-person drum circle and a film tent. A benefit festival for Yoga World Reach, the net proceeds from this summer’s most innovative yoga festival go directly to assisting underserved populations throughout the world. YogaRocks! presenters volunteer all or most of their time creating a sense of Seva, a Sanskrit word meaning selfless service, which is the cornerstone of Yoga Worldreach. YogaRocks offers instruction from the yoga-community’s most caring, mindful and innovative instructors. Presenters include Nationaly-known Jivamukti Yoga instructor Seane Corn, Simon Park, a creative teacher of Vinyasa Flow and Thai Massage, Sree Bringi, a Yoga philosophy instructor from Naropa University and certified Anusara instructor Jeanie Manchester, who has studied yoga for 20 years with teachers Richard Freeman, John Friend and Douglas Brooks. Also on the lineup is much-loved, certified Anusara Yoga ® instructor Darren Rhodes. Staying true to its grass-roots, unique vibe YogaRocks also includes fire-twirling each evening with Bioluminance and exciting AcroYoga demonstrations and classes with Vail, Co.’s Rachel Nelson. Also on the inspiring lineup is a class in the “blissipline” with Shakti including live percussion from local drum-masters and nada yoga with Alanna Kaivalya, which combines music and yoga to awaken attendees’ true inner potential. In true festival tradition YogaRocks includes a bursting schedule of world-class, innovative and inspired live music. Nationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter Donna De Lory, the genre-busting D.V.S. & Chantel Mead, the soulful Girish and Boulder’s own seven-member African ensemble Zivanai Masango all grace the roster. Recently added to this already-impressive list is Nationally-known act Shanti Groove bringing their mountain grown grass grooves to the festival. The Motet Presents: Juno What?!, 2008’s newest contribution to the retro, early 80’s, high energy, funk-disco, synth bass, electronica genre is also hitting the stage. Those looking to let go and dance can head over to the Gypsie Nation tent to experience freestyle ecstatic dance rituals for self-exploration, healing and community building. YogaRocks!
